The Ultimate Question
The question that I wish I could always have the answer to is: What is the meaning of death? We focus too much on what the meaning of life is. But there is the beginning and there's an end and that what death is. Whether someone is religious or atheist, it's all the same. Death is the end of our spiritual presence on Earth and the beginning of our decay...as nasty as that might sound. But what is next? Is that the end? Is there a heaven and hell? Or do we simply add to the natural process of decay and give back to the Earth. The questioning behind what the meaning of death brings about other questions, such as the meaning of life, what's next, and so on. Now that I think about it...this is going way over my head. I smell popcorn and I know at the moment that death is far away and my next adventure is to find the source of this intoxicating smell...
